They can find there everything they will ever need to know Re.: how to use course (and other CS) newsgroups.

   Make that class.cs420 (i.e., no 'dot' between 'cs' and '420').

   Also, I was assuming you announced the existence of the newsgroup in class at the beginning of the term; anyhow, it clearly would not hurt to periodically remind them of it, as well as to put that info on your URL, possibly with a lonk (which is what M. Heath has done on his CS554 website.)
